Points are awarded as follows:

Points awarded for “step 1” individual fixtures are as follows:
- 3 Points if you predict the exact scoreline (e.g. your prediction is Germany 3-2 Scotland, and the actual score is Germany 3-2 Scotland, you will receive 3 points).
- 1 point for predicting the correct result but not the scoreline (e.g. your prediction is Germany 2-1 Scotland, actual score is Germany 1-0 Scotland, you will receive 1 point).
- 2 points for correctly predicting the first scoring team in the match.
- The maximum number of points available per individual fixture is 5 points if you predict the exact scoreline and first goalscoring team.
- Predictions are based on full time score, extra time and penalty shootouts do not count.
Points awarded for step 2, 3 and 4 are as follows:
- Group A Winner - 5 points
- Group B Winner - 5 points
- Group C Winner - 5 points
- Group D Winner - 5 points
- Group E Winner - 5 points
- Group F Winner - 5 points
- Tournament winner – 10 points
- Top Goalscoring team – 10 points
There are 110 points in total available and the participant with the most points at the end of the competition will come top of the leaderboard and win the prize. See our prizes page for full breakdown of the prizes available to win.
The leaderboard will be updated after each game.
If two or more players are tied on points at the end of the competition the tiebreak differentiators will be the following:
1. Most Correct Scores Predicted
2. MostCorrectGroupWinnersPredicted
3. CorrectTournamentWinningTeamPredicted
4. Correct Top Scoring Team Predicted
In the event of a tie where the tied entrants each have achieved equal number of points and have predicted the same amount of correct scores, group winners, correct winning team and top scoring team the prize will be split equally among those participants.

Competition Rules

You must be 18 or over to enter the competition.
You can only enter once per competition.
You must make and submit your predictions before the competition closes, if you do not submit your predictions you will have failed to register your predictions and will receive 0 points. You cannot make changes to your predictions after the competition closes.
In the event of any fixture being changed by authorities for whatever reason, or any other issue resulting in changes to the schedule of games, every effort will be made to update the predictor chart accordingly.
However, in the unlikely event of any issue relating to results of games, the final scores and points awarded, the administrators' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
You may create your own private league on our leagues page to compete against your friends, family or colleagues etc however no prizes are awarded for winning a private league, to win a prize you must finish in the top 30 of the overall leaderboard which you can find on the leaderboard page.
All players will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions and rules of the game when entering.
